1. Stop sharing with the room
Choose Leave room or Disconnect in StandupVR, or close the app. This ends the connection and clears active room membership and pending head/avatar stream buffers in that session. On the companion page choose Stop sharing to end window capture, then Leave room to disconnect the presenter. Your browser’s own stop-sharing control also ends capture. Stop the desktop lab with Ctrl+C if you are using it.
The internet relay removes departed participant state from its active room memory. Empty rooms retain their code for up to two minutes for reconnection; rooms expire after at most six hours or a server restart. The relay does not record meeting video or an avatar-motion history. Provider operational logs follow the providers’ own retention rules, as described in the privacy policy.
Meeting voice is optional. When enabled, Mute mic stops your transmission, while leaving the room or closing the app ends the voice connection. Your opt-in and mute choice are saved locally; clearing app data removes those preferences. Leaving or uninstalling does not itself delete LiveKit operational records.
Leaving is not a complete deletion of stored data. Existing reports, exported logs, other participants’ copies and Meta SDK state or caches may remain.
2. Remove local app data
Turn Test details off to stop writing its CSV report. Turning it off does not delete reports already saved.
Reports are stored in the app’s Diagnostics folder. Delete unwanted reports if you have access to that folder. To remove StandupVR’s local app storage on Quest, use the headset’s app storage controls to clear its data, where available, or uninstall StandupVR. The exact menu wording depends on the headset software version.
Clearing or uninstalling affects app data on that device. It does not delete Meta account records, copies you exported, backups outside that storage, or files on another person’s device.
3. Delete exported copies too
If you used the development tools, remove the relevant files from Logs/OneHeadsetLab and Logs/Quest in your desktop project, plus any other folders, messages or backup locations where you copied them. Files have no automatic expiry.
If you shared a file with a tester, room host or another participant, ask that recipient to delete their copy. StandupVR has no remote command that can erase files on someone else’s device.
4. Ask the developer to delete a copy
For support messages, diagnostic files or other personal information you provided to Fidel Seehawer, use the privacy and deletion contact. You do not need a StandupVR account.
Say that your request concerns StandupVR data deletion, describe the information and approximate date you sent it, and provide a way to reply. Use the original email address if possible. Send only information reasonably needed to locate your data and verify the request.
Never send your password or a Meta access token. You do not need to send a complete device log just to make a deletion request.
For information processed through an activated StandupVR voice service, use this same contact and give the approximate session date and only the details needed to identify the request. StandupVR uses temporary pseudonymous voice identifiers; the developer may need additional information to locate a provider record. Do not send a voice token or API secret. LiveKit’s data processing addendum describes assistance with provider-held data requests separately from local app deletion.
For information in a user report submitted through Meta’s reporting flow, use this same contact and describe the approximate report date and the information concerned. Report deliveries pass through Meta and the support forwarding and mailbox services described in the privacy policy. Leaving the room or uninstalling does not delete those copies. The developer can handle requests concerning copies held by the developer; use Meta’s privacy controls for information retained independently by Meta.
The developer will delete information no longer needed and explain any information that must be retained, for example to meet a legal obligation. Where GDPR rights apply, requests are handled without undue delay, normally within one month; a permitted extension will be explained. See the privacy policy for your other rights.
5. Manage Meta-held data separately
StandupVR does not control your Meta account, purchases, avatar records or Meta’s SDK/service retention. Use Meta’s account and privacy controls for those data. Removing StandupVR does not delete your Meta account. See the Meta Platforms Technologies privacy policy for its controls and contact routes.
